Speaking in Syllables

Speaking in Syllables

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

jumbled words from a heart in love

"

Speaking in Syllables

You had me speaking in syllables I rarely understand
Caught like a fugitive sneaking around a rich countryside
Words pouring out from an empty cup of memories
I like you baby was all I understood until
a hammer of love caused stars circling my wayward head.
If I need say anything more
I've fallen into the despair of romance.

Spurred by meeting two available women last night who are over an hour away.

Thanks Jacob!

love the paradox in the last line...

falling into that wonderful despair---giving into it...relinquishing our heart.
