Surrender

Surrender

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

letting distance go

"

Surrender

On feeling distance I grab for far away
Clutched in my grip it feels like gold in a mold
Upon return to the present
a surrender takes place
I come home to now
where wealth finds a place.

i really like this poem...we have to live in the present---grabbing for the future, which is too far away, doesn't make as much sense as holding on to the gold of the present.
