Questions Lay on the Mind

Lack of convention,

thought outside the box

time mostly now

was neolithic man given potential

did they chant?

did they sing or hum?

did the heavens open the mind

a silence that surround the soul

art that gave meaning to life 

did birth & death bring them the sacred

did the evolution of language destroy these potentials

did they know healing.

I would surmise that a possibility of control would manifest because of the new tool. Hence, dogma, institutions, power structures, etc.

i would hope that the evolution of language would not destroy potential, but allow for it to grow and prosper and then be written about by poets and novelists...
