A Note on Jocular Assistance

A Note on Jocular Assistance

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

the laugh, my laugh

"

A Note on Jocular Assistance

You laugh,
the flurry of activity ends
Sounds emanate throughout the cafeteria
It's you fool
It's your sound laughing
Laughing beyond the norm
Laughing that causes a pause in the student body
so that everyone can hear
Can hear your laugh
all the way to your wounded soul.

In those days the death wish sent me a cake with candles.

Thanks Jacob!

the louder we laugh, often the harder we hurt inside...

it's a cover.
for sure.
