The No

The No

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

is this the opposite of yes?

"

The No

The lark ascends his wings full
He soars over beauty whole
The blue winds whisper an echo of no
as his plumage pools in descent of sorrow's clue
On the outer reaches of a hope so real
The Big No detonates in view of the field
The fool lies naked, a sad tale cloth covers his soul.

Thanks so much for your wisdom Pryde. No doubt you are right. Reality sometimes obscures everything.

I have come to understand that the universe tells me 'no' for two reasons … reason one, I grasp at what I want and I am not ready for its fruition or two, what I want is not ready for me. Nothing is ever personal but love found … if you look for it … in every manifestation. Powerful write, Al:)

I too like apples. I guess we were both doomed.

Thanks and have a Happy Thanksgiving Jacob!

sort of like Adam who unfortunately said "yes" to the apple...and then had to cover his losses.
