A Handskake with Timelessness

A Handskake with Timelessness

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Morning and the time is slow

"

A Handshake with Timelessness

the morning passes like a jet stream
You want to grab at its elemental concepts
Nurture its speed into molasses
Pancake the morning into a flat turtle
Nibble at the edges
Watch it slowly edge across your planet plate
Slow, easy as you find timelessness handshaking your mind

Those moments are so precious and we should seal it with a handshake and a smile. What an imagery and what a poet....:)......

Morning seems to fly by, if only we could slow that down, sigh...I often think that, portrayed here so well and elegantly Alfred :)

5 years of retirement gone from view and the mornings are similar to a rocket blasting off. Thanks Jacob!

oh yes, that handshake is all too hard, all to fast and we are left holding emptiness...

if only we could slow it all down...and put a little extra syrup on life...
