In the Angel's Glow

In the Angel's Glow

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

love, song, celebration

"
So it was said, said in monosyllabic renderings,
said like a terse Hemingway story,
"I love you",
it filled the air, heart and inched into the their souls,
a trinity of small words in a universal language
their skin sought similar avenues, arms embraced,
lips meeting as tender touched in the atmosphere,
there was so much to be said in this moment
all encapsulated in each other's silence,
a silence that would reach into a half century,
living, loving, ebb, flow, violin, bow,
all made around an angel's glow

I think you said it better than me. I remember seeing the story about Roosevelt's. They seemed to have that kind of dynasty where love, the celebration of love, music reach into every generations. Perhaps that's one reason Franklin was a great president.

We can't say that about Nixon, can we!

Thanks again Jacob!

Al

someone recently told me that "i love you" is just words...i don't believe that...and your poem proves it...

love is avenues meeting in the same town where hearts grow fond and stay----

This sound like something made in heaven but I can imagine a family tradition reaching this sort of milestone in romantic evolution.

Thanks guy!
