Feeding the Hungry

He carried the bread

to a feeding hungry

the smell of fresh bake

living on some other atmosphere

they dabbled their tongues in

a sustenance of gratefulness

never leaving the awareness

that food was oneness.

You watch the news; carry it with you, give, give some more but there are so many and I am one.

Thanks Guys!

appreciating that food is for sustenance---and even the simplest food can taste wonderful...

we are so spoiled and picky these days...bread is bread and it allows us to live...
and as in this poem, it is oneness...

and to know that is awareness.

really like this one Al.

in many cases, man has only bread to live on, and the kindness of those who provide it...i like the biblical feel to this, Al - manna from the sky..well-done, my friend...
