A Question for Everyone

inside with darkness
A Question for Everyone
I can feel it reaching inside me.
The evening light casting its shadowy mystery
on eyes of another era, another consciousness
I have left the aura of normalcy
only to know that shadow gains notoriety
in a nurtured silence
how brave are you darkness
that you come upon my brow
in evening light?
shall I shudder at your hugeness
or perhaps blend in the mystery
that only you and I know exists.

I've always loved bears; I have a carved wooden one in the living room.
Yes scary indeed like a bullet blazing by your head. Thanks for the visiting!

The unknown that lurks just inside the boundaries of shadows that turn to even darker shades of gray, how can anything be more frightening than that. Nice prospective and thought provoking topic, this could haunt ones thinking all night long, (where did I put that nightlight) Thank you for posting, it was a pleasure to read.

He y Jacob!
Yesterday about 5:30 pm I'm looking out at the forest. The light was majestic. Afterward I fell into that poetic trance. Thanks for visiting!

you are on a roll, Al...
wonderfully philosophical poetry and stark imagery...how brave is that darkness...and how much mystery is there to life...we have lived it for a long time, been through so much...is there still some things about ourselves we don't know yet, even this far along?

Thanks Guys! I feel on a roll. Words, ideas blooming in the midst of a moment of wandering on nothingness.
Yes FT it does remain with every individual.
whoa!
