Dark & deep
Stepping out one breath at a time
Forest blankets my soul
as leaves feel the divine.
I see the rush of the white tailed deer
The hovering of silence stands by near
I'm walking on ground of ancient times
I stop in my footsteps
I consider the road
It's my turn to walk gently
amid the ever present world.
Yes Latifa you did, right on the money!
Meanwhile gentlemen I'm thinking of the dark matter in the universe. Science now thinks it's in the cell's nucleus. I conjecture that mystery, poetry, writing contains some of this very material.
FT remember that rock where your parent's kissed each other? I think the whole experience had something to do with dark matter. Whew! This is exciting!
This is such a calming, yet exciting, read...the first nine lines create a great backdrop of solitude; the quiet required for reflection that comes at line nine (even the deer is not heard, but only seen)...this is followed brilliantly by the anticipation (the promise) of those final two lines...now I want to read about a walk through that 'present world"... great writing, Al... splendid!!!
It's my turn to walk gently
amid the ever present world.
these last lines are splendid, I really like them, they give the reader a sense of opportunity breakthroughs mixed with accompanied wisdom of the past experiences, Lovely dear.
I hope I understood the real meaning of it :)
