Old Alfred

Old Alfred

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

a misadventure in travel

"

Old Alfred

Isn't there a death in me somewhere?

this rattling on about breath is more than I can choose

where in the hell is infinity?

what about the eternal?

how about a little soul in my universe

while I, did I say I, excuse me

while the everythingness of life goes on without me

tickled just tickled with after life successful venture

into my body of old!

i do wonder where we will travel after all is said and done of this earthly body...

i like the idea of being "tickled with after life"

in sear of the New Alfred, I see... love the internal dialogue occurring here, Al... ageing makes all of us wonder about these things... well-done, my friend
