The Writing of Verse

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

who me?

"

The Writing of Verse

Whether it is a write of great import
A naming of names under sunshine's umbrella
Scribble that makes more sense than reason
We write it all capturing the features of curves & arcs
Once pitched high on the greatest of plateaus
The eyes see forever like its never been told
Here in the valley of a youth the colored mind
finds an eternal hue.

The only weapon against any entrapment of time-rust is a sharpened pen. :D

I never had such bone ache with vacation but at least I'm still writing. Passed out 2 poems to my waitresses yesterday and today, said one vocally. The ladies loved it. A band of women came upon Honey & Jackson to give them love and get their doggie fix.
