When It Finally Happens

When It Finally Happens

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Is love in the air

"

When It Finally Happens

When I have scribbled free

from the tournament of words,

Latched on to a veer in poetic utterances

I will love with a spoken heart,

A soul mired in the postulates of grace

as we float down into the eternal love of each other.

OK So You Don't Believe Me

A cowboy song,
A brim in the need of mending,
A straw on the corner of our mouths,
Hill Billy waves coating the atmosphere
Say you love me now,
Say I'm your cowboy
Just smile in a day like mine.

Thanks Jacob! Let the mending begin!

in eternity the words won't need to be spoken or written down, they will just be understood, and the cowboy will find his cowgirl...and they will be in the same day, mending with grace.
