Witness

Witness

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

the effect of poetry

"

After Witnessing “Eye of the Needle”

she moved in midair

the gesticulations of her body

caused a spiral intonation

grace could be said only in the eye’s view

even an idiot could be awed

the poet though would melt into his awe

carried somewhere only his soul knows.

What a beautiful journey into the soul of you... how poetry sings over you... through you. A brilliant dance of words.

That is a lovely image ... the poet melting into his awe, while others only see the polished result! Lovely poem
