Witness

Witness

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

the effect of poetry

"

After Witnessing “Eye of the Needle”

she moved in midair

the gesticulations of her body

caused a spiral intonation

grace could be said only in the eye’s view

even an idiot could be awed

the poet though would melt into his awe

carried somewhere only his soul knows.

Few people inspire these words: carried somewhere only his soul knows.
How beautifully said...loved this tribute.

perfectly articulated with still great margins to swim in its interpretation

Alfred Kukitz,
"Witness" The title itself helps me to begin to see that this is a response to something; not in technical terms but growing from life within. Melt into his awe and only his soul knows- coming from a special thing seen or experienced? Anyway read it over a couple times. Can't say I really understood but it was still a study in response rather than just seeing. Blessings Kathy
