A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

my age

"
66.....................

Born in shadow
unwinding my being
From notes on a cord
My rhythm sinking behind Yellow Submarine
If I could find that shaded garden
Worded somehow in catholic fashion
I'd play my joy's soul betwixt on a fix
and counter that shadow in a bout of twists.

Then upon...................age 66
I could return to the kid that loved his fix.

I learned to scuba back in 1980, drove down to the Keys, took in the beauty underwater, loved it!

Thanks for your visit!

Al

I like this..thinking of the octopus' garden..

would I like to be under the sea?
not sure,

but younger again, knowing what I do now?
perhaps...
