Sacrifice

Sacrifice

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

to kill a beast

"
Sacrifice

Giving wild some countenance
Between eyes unforgiving
I summons you to battle
That you may destroy the monster within
If you possibly ally with the brute
I'll sacrifice my life to end brute's forbidden fruit.

Thanks for the visit Moon's fairest daughter. I stir my monsters up inside just to keep them in line.

Regards,
Al

Perfect irony. We must fight our beast to defeat it, and make peace with ourselves.... That is the ultimate sacrifice-giving up that beastly(pun intended) load that prevents us from loving and being loved. Giving up and sacrificing anything takes strength, but in the process it strengthens us as well, turning us into better human beings.
