Notes from the Eternal

Notes from the Eternal

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

a dog's appetite

"
Notes from the Eternal

There were two hairys
Who sat by a dude
Their hunger eternal
In search of food
In hopes for a morsel
or crumbs on the floor
They wait in puppy silence
wanting for more.

It's that look they give you; I freely admit I find it impossible to ignore.

Beccy.

They are sitting here now with me at breakfast. I gave them some blueberries. Now they want more.

Thanks Jacob!
