Speaking of Nightmares

Speaking of Nightmares

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

fear would not come along

"

Speaking of Nightmares

You dealt several dreams out today

none of them seem to be working,

what about a nice nightmare?

maybe two or three,

you light the fire that is so readily available,

Boom Boom,

We walk into the nightmare, simply smiling,

fear was to scared to come along,

we looked at nightmare asking

do you want to try a dream on for size?

it simply burped and went on its way!

Your poetry is amazing. No pun intended. It goes deeper than what is only the obvious. It should be totally appreciated...:).......

Love scares that fear away but humour is half bad either.Loved this

wow what a paradox, fear was too scared to come along?

interesting concept...hope the burp got something out of its system...

this made me think of alice cooper "welcome to my nightmare"
i also like the oxymoron of "nice nightmare"
