Sacrosanct

Sacrosanct

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

voice vs speech

"

Sacrosanct

You have steadily wiped all the dirt from your mouth
Your words now are sacrosanct
but I must caution you
that some will crush all inklings of your voice
Speech, free speech, paid speech, speech without words,
Pundit speech, politician speech, corporate speech.
It's everywhere ness, it's incessant volume,
It's lack of any incandescent life
Will darken your soul forevermore.

While sacrosanct lays a candle on the dead soldiers,
Find itself on pages of poet's, artist's and human's souls
Sings in the choir of angels, visits the sun on dark days,
Listens to small babies that google a day away,
All because we love in the marrow of the womb.
