In the Color of His Soul

I felt a lostness in the summer of my blues.

I looked but found the colorless words surrounding my soul.

The days, the nights, the twilights evaporated the hues,

When i looked home a  wild red of mischief occupied man & women,

Here in the aftermath of it all I paint myself another form,

a brush of rebirth as though I lost a blue summer only to gain

a gentle gold of autumn.

i like that "gentle gold of autumn"
summer's blue is compromised by the heat of youth, the heat of the moment, whereas the autumn blue is smarter, more distinct, halcyon.
