LAST RIDE TO SEDONA

Last Ride to Sedona

During our last drive into Sedona
You asked me about all the pictures I composed.
Rock compositions are grateful that
we appreciate their souls.
You returned to our previous conversation
amid the sparkle of a rising sun
When I made a hard turn traveling north
You set about ready to shoot me down

I asked before dying you take care of my Jeep,
Jackson & Honey were anxious about my coming sleep,
We all parked on the shoulder
waited till I was gone,
Then she pushed me out gently
I was among the rocks & boulders
that my soul appreciated well into our night.

Hi Pryde,

Your interpretation is far reaching and bold. Thank you!

Destructive maybe but almost cinematic in its scope … Kerouac meets Lynch.
