A POET'S DARKNESS

A POET'S DARKNESS

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

swimming in the inkwell

"

A Poet's Darkness

Before long you become your own sunrise,
The shine tickles the soul,
Was there ever a better moment?
When darkness comes
you ooze into the inkwell
Writing the day away.

I love this poem. In a few words it speaks volumes. Just beautiful.

I adore this one, Alfred...I love writing the day away whenever the opportunity presents itself. You did a wonderful job with a brevity of words, my friend!

How's Jackson & Honey doing? Give them hugs from their "Aunt Kelly", ok?
