THE SILVER CORD ?

THE SILVER CORD ?

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

where am I going?

"

The Silver Cord ?

Rolling out in poetry form
My mind wanders from the linear storm
It seems I've misplaced a pause
Finding my return a bite of a chore
ABC and something more
I deliver myself from the norm
Tracing my steps to the ocean's door
I can only say that wet poetry needs something more
So I dive my depths in the hopes
I find the silver cord.

This is outstanding Al!
I love it. Wet poetry, I've never heard that before.

Thanks gentlemen! I call the two ways I write poetry topical & depth. Depth reaches into the subconscious where all the good stuff lives. Take Upon Her Arrival as depth. Take this poem as topical. I prefer the former.

Regards,

Al

Service to poetry thrills the heart, even more than finding a silver cord. My friend, you've got something more that silver cord... Write to boundless ages... You are nice in the service.

"wet poetry needs something more

I find the silver cord."

You are writing and that gives hope to the hopeless. You are sharing and that gives slope to the loneliness. You are indeed diving and breathing in the depths. Excellent...:)..........
