UPON HER ARRIVAL

UPON HER ARRIVAL

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

a visit with a mysterious women

"

Upon Her Arrival

A small will of time
An envelope of sound
Surrounding the roses
You came to me
Out of the ether
Asking timeless questions
Whereupon I begged for more
You heeded my words
As I kneeled before you
in a tear of understanding.

I can see why you are so proud of this one, Alfred. I am awed by such lines as "a small will of time", and "in a tear of understanding".

Stay warm, and keep writing, my friend!

what great images, "A small will of time/ An envelope of sound"

when someone finally listens to us, really listens to us, there can be understanding and real love.

nicely done, AL...
