Knock About

Knock about,
Two feet in a routine,
Ambling along
Wearing my jeans,
Two dog company,
Silences, dreams,
Covering my territory
Like a boy it seems,
Hearing some things,
Doing some chores,
I'm an old man retired
Living each day
As best it seems,
Following a nose
That keeps ahead me!
