Not an Exit

Not an Exit

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

A one way door

"

Not an Exit

Pleas numbered in the millions,

No one knocking at the door,

I hear a small child crying

She's on the floor on Christmas morn,

The lack of gifts is everywhere

Hunger growls in the empty store

I want them to exit,

I want them to taste blessings

But life says it's no exit

Life says the door stays closed.

some doors just remain closed, some children just remain hungry...
there is no santa claus when it comes to hunger...no miracle...just empty sleds with no food on them.
