Holy Wonder

Holy Wonder

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

The mind of bigger things

"

Holy Wonder

It's a full white page, letters & numbers included,
Thinking pass the ordinary relationship of meaning
The risks, adventures & missteps cover every line,
Curve and stanza in a daring plot to discover
What are the words, what are the meanings,
How in God's name do we absorb
The universal sounds that make us all
Stop, listen & begin to hear a simple plea of holy wonder.

It's a hard wonder. You can see the panoramic beauty of the universe, humble yourself by the shear majestic view and fall back into the human you were always meant to be. Thanks for visiting.

poets hear it...even the smallest sounds, even the smallest pleas...

we beg to discover...and then our discoveries end up on the white page, filling it with our wonder.
