Lullaby's Call

Lullaby's Call

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

fantasy's genesis

"
A cave of darkness,
Whispers waiting to be heard by all,
Yet no one stood while the whispers called.
Ages passed,
whispers grew tall,
One man found brave
and discovered lullaby's call.

That one man who hears and fathoms those whispers is sometimes all that it takes. That one man who can read the poem, and reach the meaning, who can listen to a song, and be flooded with emotions, who can see art as the artist sees it, or perhaps see it in a completely different light, but that one man who cares....is all that an artist asks for..

I've always felt outside the norm, sometimes on an edge, sometimes safe and warm. I think when I wrote this one and Day One, I felt like I was on some mental edge.

As always Jacob, thank you! You are a wonderful influence.

at least one man heard them...just like poets....we hear the whispers others don't hear or don't care to hear...to be different is to be brave...it is tough not fitting in...not playing it safe.
