Verbose

Verbose

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

did i say that

"

You speak a hundred word syllable,

“but I meant…….but I meant……..

the blather goes on,

the syntax scrambles for words,

you may emotion yourself to death

while on lookers cash in their chips

and the gamble for words come out flat & verbose.

I think the key is to be truthful regardless of what level of language you choose to communicate with … I think the problem lies when one tries to show off with language and the flip side when one sees a word they are not familiar with and take it as a personal slight … when ego write or reads … it is always painful. A clever write here. Alfred.

Hi guys! Ana I'm glad you put your picture back; you're more beautiful. Jacob, I can't say the same for you, but both of you have great souls. Thank you!

this is great...so tongue-in-cheek...and I like the use of "emotion" as a verb---

"emotion yourself to death"

Sometimes the value of things gets lost in all the wrapping.
