Wizard's Curse

Wizard's Curse

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Wizard taking my magic away

"

On seeing daffodils inside the longing of my heart.

I could hear silence storming the idiocy of my longing

whenever I bowed a swear word crossed my lips

i am beginning to see the end of me in lilliputian rumors.

i stayed on an icicle so thin

I might break if self has inclinations

but before I bow to my lack of grace

I shall remember the wizard attacking my face.

Good analysis! Getting in the way of myself kept me from writing years ago. Self critical me ! Thanks for your visit!

magic is fleeting...i really like "i stayed on an icicle so thin"

and those self inclinations can destroy us...is it the wizard or of our own making that the longing in our hearts can cause the stormy silence...
