GIVINGAWAY

GIVINGAWAY

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

tis the season

"

I’ve been absent of myself,

aiming at the endless swirl in ribbons

I visited my mind today

imagining an orbital phenomenon

creating a similar universe within me.

I can’t be lazy anymore,

I promised virtue growing on thyme

to water the plants daily.

They (virtue) will be lining up

in a silver and white mercy.

Alas! Mercy is on the move,

spinning in my universe,

unknown to most but

keeping the secret well veiled

Giving, giving, giving away!

I really like this one. I'm giving to charity big this year........St. Jude hospital for kids, Doctors without Borders, DAV Disabled American Vets. Thanks Jacob!

i have been absent of myself lately too...

i like the idea of "i visited my mind today"

and that orbital phnomenon...creating the universe within...the lazy here has to do with virtue...

and mercy....we could give that away easily enough as long as we make some effort...
yes, the season of giving is upon us...so what shall we do?

give or sleep.....you raise such good questions with your pieces.
