A Silent Potion Drinks Me to Sleep

A Silent Potion Drinks Me to Sleep

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

A comment on the aliveness of creation

"

Here is one writing that dares to go forward

Without the least bit of ideas or notions of what is to come next.

I am writing on the faith that my mind will

Somehow take me to a psychedelic portion of my mind.

Once there I gather round the highlights of form.

Bend or betwixt the words or ideas into my own unique form.

Then scuttle off to my daily reality

Where a silent potion drinks me to sleep.

I did a writing exercise I called Morning Book for 2 1/2 years, everyday, missed once. I'd sit down and write. While there were times it was complete junk (you have to get it out of the way) but other times the writing really surprised me. My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it!

oh i like this...and have to admit, this is how i write...

i started and let it take me wherever it wants to....i take the ride, like at a carnival...it is a short
thrill, and then back to my regular life.

thanks for sharing this.
