Other Self

Other Self

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Discovering other parts of self

"

There is a part of me that reaches into the void
and possesses a long stare into night that I
would chase forever if it took that long.
I am not whole for I am without women
if you hear my silence I will praise you
Come softly,
I hear your kiss embracing my soul.

It all seems like a wakeful dream. It came while driving to yoga. I couldn't wait to write it down.

i think a woman is our other self---we are half of what we could be without her...
oh but to hear that kiss...and feel it embracing our soul.

you took just a few words, and spoke volumes here.
