I Beg Thee a Chance

I Beg Thee a Chance

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

a nexus of mind, imagination and soul

"

Why is it that you treat me so?

Why do the wonders of the winds

passing through trees amaze my mind?

Oh! The trees sway!

Shall there be a day when the

whole world would stand still with me?

Perhaps find a small glean of beauty in the meadow?

Enchant our minds into the everyday do da’s of imagination

Feel the ever enriching soil of our planet in one cosmic blessing within the universe

How can you bother with all the eternal infirmities of yesteryear?

Expand the horizon, melt away the frozen tundra of the soul,

Keep seeing children dancing in the moonlight,

and please most of all never never let go until they come

and dance with you!

Talking about the mind exploding in imagination...........I felt a rush of inspiration tantalizing me. Thanks Jacob!

imagination is a great thing...why can't we just let it direct us?
why do we limit ourselves when it comes to love...?

we need to expand horizons like you say here..get away from that deep freeze and melt.
