Coming Home

Coming Home

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

To the writers at Writer's Cafe.

"

You find a place
At the table of the sun,
You settle into verse,
Read unbelievable words,
Make sense of it all,
Leave the world a little bigger
In the smallness of your own mind.

I've come home
Settled into my own words,
Meet like minded folks,
Greeted as though we
Were all a bag of friends
Lastly smiling from great & small distances
Finding life in a most beautiful way.

You get a lot more goodies with and open bag then a closed and so goes the heart and friends. Great, great write. Alfred.

What a lovely tribute to the people and the poetry at Writer's Café! Indeed, we are like minded and we hail from the corners of the earth. Poetry has brought us together in such a special way. Lydi**
