Sings You As Child

Sings You As Child

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Metaphysical Regression

"

Another day in your devotion to stillness,

Your tongue ready to maneuver pass the anatomy of speech

You arc in the midline of your own catechism

See the heavens in a peculiar wink you've adopted,

A bed of silent springs lays aside your nudity

Followed by the blessedness  of the divine

The thirst drinks you

The echo of your mind wallows in the deep of it all

The fetal position that you’ve adopted sings you as child.

Very interesting and well-written poem. It evokes with such passion the beauty of life and the love that follows after.
