Listening to Footsteps

Listening to Footsteps

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

All going nowhere

"

You stepped on land the other day

but planet earth was not under your feet.

small steps, large steps it didn’t matter.

And all around the spaces aside from dark matter

were people, people everywhere,

people in everywhereness of all kinds

everywhere people just walking and walking

with no path, no goals, just a sweet silence listening to their footsteps.

Alfred this poem had a deepness to me, it felt what is felt by another's eyes watching society in the brink of all. I really loved it:)

There's a saying in Italian, Il dolce far niente, which means the sweetness of doing nothing, your poem reminded me of that stillness. Well said Alfred.
