The Easy Part of the Day

The Easy Part of the Day

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

When there is Nothing to do

"

It's an unscheduled day.

You might want to crawl out of your skin,

Slink around into and out of silent caves,

Smell some darkness, relieve yourself of the seriousness of the moment,

Maybe half moon the world.

Where it all started you don't know.

Perhaps I'm in the middle of things or near the end.

Does it matter?

You lose hold of the questioning,

Dive deep into rare air.

Hold your breath now, close your eyes, see,

It wasn't that hard after all.

I liked it very much. It's a great feeling to not have to hurry and to be able to just take it all in.

Thank you all! I love these days. Maybe the camera or iPhone follows you. There is no plan. You just flip one moment followed by another.

when you just give in to the day---that is the best sunset you can have...just let the feelings flow over you---don't question everything, just accept.

We all need days like these, to just get up, get out... and be in the moment! Wonderful thoughts, Alfred!
