We Landed on Mars

We Landed on Mars

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Space travel

"

We had never seen day light on Mars. We arrived at night on Earth time. A sleepiness surrounded us. Lullabies seem to come from everywhere. Was the possibility of us becoming Star Children manifesting in our bones? We slept the first day away awaiting what was about to unfold.
