For Kelly

For Kelly

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

A favorite poet of mine

"

She asked "might I meet your muse"?
I asked, "if I may meet your too"
We silenced ourselves in the
quiet of the morn
The muses came to the fore
When all was said
Like a history of unfathomable proportions
They returned to each other
Where love makes its own bed.

i really like this...the muses make love...the lovers remain silent...the poems do the talking and the feeling.
