Crazy Dream

Crazy Dream

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

I made this up

"

They were waving to milkmen
A thing of the past
While ancients looked out
On the millennium's need
It all seemed like some crazy dream
Mind you now
I'll tell you this
If you put me away
I just might find bliss.

My Dad was a milkman. I was three or four. Afterward he worked on our new home.

i remember milkmen...we had a weber's dairy...used deliver great buttermilk every so often.

sometimes we talk of the old days...and they were so different that younger people just can't imagine they existed, and we may seem to them like we need the folks in the white coats.
