The Star that MattersA Poem by Alfred KukitzHemoglobin and you are cousinsHappenstance? You walk pass yourself and enter a confused dream. The sign reads, No Lingering, Hurry. You don't know what to do. Yes, this is the first time you walked pass yourself; no, you don't know what the hell you are doing. Maybe you think, find yourself, but you seem to be all over. Wait. Settle down. Find your feet connected to the Earth. Start looking at your legs, torso, imagine seeing your head. Look upward, higher, higher. You find yourself among the stars just like in the universe’s origins when star matter was you. Note: hemoglobin was found in exploding stars. © 2014 Alfred KukitzReviews
