Conquered Self

Conquered Self

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Let all save one inch of the world

"

Delve with me into the Kingdom of Nothingness.

See the arc of your conscious float upon the waters of air.

Reach like a symphony of spirits into the very core of this kingdom.

The nectar swarms over you.

Daffodils bloom in your mind.

Let some form of your own champion save one inch of the world.

Feel the glory run through your veins

because you braved that distant inner face and conquered yourself.

brings to mind the state that is achieved through meditation and the enlightenment you suddenly get, like an epiphany. like a little burst of euphoria. trippy, too.

Spiritually overwhelmed by nature and life. Such a beautiful poem from a beautiful soul. Thanks for penning it down Alfred.

if each of us saved an inch...imagine the distance we could cover.
