A Chill of Time

A Chill of Time

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

There is a time for one' s end.

"

I dare say a shiver
Is coming around
The bend.
Men will fall
Feeling an end.

In the hopes of a famous
Telltale sign
Meaning meets us all
On the chill of time.

Very interesting concept on one's end. Your perception and insight is food for thought. I enjoyed your unusual point of view. Well done.

"To go back to the same place and know it for the first time" T.S. Eliot

I think of Vietnam that way, all that senseless killing.

Thank you Elisa!

This little poem, has so much to say, it speaks of fear, of death, of the chill first without a meaning, but a meaning soon to catch. There is indeed a time for one's end, and those who aren't afraid, live richly.

Thank you Alfred for such a great little piece of writing. As young as I maybe am, death has been always a part of me too.
