Gone

Gone

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

A Stranger visits himself

"

Ambling for decades in a sand filled mind
Feeling grains of time peeling my skin away
I burrow for water under a tree of time
Awash in mystery I am swallowed whole
Gone without one soul knowing my mind.

"Awash in mystery I am swallowed whole
Gone without one soul knowing my mind."

There have been times in my life where I could have applied this to. Such a profound reading, Alfred!
