On Rhyme

On Rhyme

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Is rhyme divinely ordained?

"

I saw rhyme climbing the walls of Dover,

charming elegantly a baby's soul,

electrifying synapses of Beethoven's Fifth,

elevating the word to poetic elegance and

summonings the bareness of life with the cloth of the divine.

: ) ok I have to say, I love to rhyme, it's just so much fun.
I try not over do it though, some people are so anti-rhyme.
Great little poem Alfred. :)

Thanks Chris! I have one of your books. Something with clouds in the title. New dog so I haven't had much time to read. Take care!

Thank Jacobs! Most times the poem surprises me.

if it is, i am going to that other place below...i am not inclined to rhyme except in rare circumstances when it comes really natural...

i really like the analogies here...this is quite a wonderful short piece.
