Panoply of Fears

Panoply of Fears

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Take some gumption, enter the fear.

"
Panoply of Fears

In the panoply of fears you desire the most wretched one.
In a smile that would transcend into a thousand words
You reach inside, tickle the fear,
Feel the shudder of its might ripping at your tears.

The line "tickle the fear" reminds me of "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak (excellent book, one of my all time favorites) that is narrated by Death. You only have four lines here but together they're very powerful and hauntingly so of gripping fear. I can totally see the image you've written. Great work!
