Awareness

Awareness

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

A summation into my final understanding of life.

"

The winds blow older now, one can hear aged wisdom in his ears. The blooming of each moment all came back to him. They all seemed dreamy; they all seemed to fit this mold of existence. Smiling wryly he pondered this random trip through life questioning the very seat of inward reasoning. Coming forth he rejoiced in all the miracles that befell him. The intuitive underpinnings that lead to God, Himself.

Neatly tucked away in the solitude of the moment he logged this twist of faith. Now gazing at the night line of midnight he felt God surrounding his entire awareness.

This is beautifully written and thought out. They say that with age comes wisdom, and this poem is sureky proof of that. Great job :)

Wow E!

This is becoming historic. This piece is memory and I didn't try to memorize it. One of those crazier times when brain cell meets soul. Thanks for the visit!

all i hear most of the time is ringing ;)
seriously tho .. i love this kind of stuff!! its down me ally and me cup of tea ..

its very interesting the form you chose for these musings .. i am put in a gentle open place right at the start ... and these moments of existence .." .. intuitive underpinnings that lead to God.." and all coming down to a very present and eternal "moment" ... great stuff this morning and the sun has yet to arise

Hi Julie,

Thanks for the visit! I'm not a church goer. I find the divine in nature. In fact I call nature creation. A former avid reader in thought provoking literature, metaphysics, science and poetry I do try hard to understand the complexities, absurbites, ironies and beauty of life.

Regards,

Al

There is a lonliness to your words, and yet, beauty as well in the last lines. Your words are well written and thought provoking...it makes me wonder if I ever will have a clear understanding of life.
As always it is a pleasure to read your poetry,

:) Julie

Good Morning Freida!

I keep wondering how everybody gets to this one? Is there a rumor mill?

Thanks for your visit!

Stunning summation Al, I wasn't aware there was a final understanding, I fully expected to be perplexed until expiration. Lovely.

Thanks Tim. It's probably my best but I really like The Vitality of Wonder.
