In the Silence of My Person

In the Silence of My Person

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Many past moments fall by the wayside of memory. I know there are many I can't recall.

"

There is a small inkling of sadness washing over my old forgotten memories. I hear echoes of a man I knew vaguely who seem to have vanished in the wind. The wish here is all those beautiful moments to come running home and live with me in the silence of my person.

In such a short space I found myself alone with these words living their impact.

...if only we could gather them up once more, and embrace them! A most beautiful expression, Alfred!
